The breakfast was adequate. Wish it had boiled eggs.   I can't say enough about Hotel Perseo. The staff were great. The breakfast was great. The bed was very comfortable -- especially for Italy. The room looked great and the shower was great. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again if ever in Florence. - The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were modern and very clean, internet service was available, and the staff made excellent recommendations for restaurants. The location was outstanding - a block from the Duomo and other major attractions, as well as walking distance to the train station. The hotel was quiet and without street noise.   We liked everything about the Hotel Pendini. The location was excellent, right in the centre of Florence, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room on the second floor was fabulous, it was really spacious with a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom, all very tastefully decorated. Our room was a new 2 room family suite also designed to accommodate disabled persons and located on the second floor. Unfortunately it did not have a view of the square but the rooms facilities and comfortable size made up for this. The staff were friendly and helpful. An excellent stay. Highly recommended.

  For my wife and I, it all has to do with the staff and this hotel can boast of having very helpful and friendly staff. The owners are present and they participate in the day to day activities of running this very charming hotel. The rooms are somewhat unique as the rooms are all so different. The location is a ten. The breakfast server was ever so nice and pleasant. - This is a lovely hotel in the historic centre of Florence. It is only a five minute trundle - with suitcase - from the main railway station. The staff were very polite and helpful. There was plenty of choice when it came to breakfast time. I had a nice, clean room overlooking the bustling piazza and the Medici chapels. The (double) double-glazed windows shut out any traffic noise overnight. I would definitely recommend it.
