Francesco and his staff were very friendly, gracious and helpful. He was ready and waiting with a map of the city and the surrounding neighborhood. All of Francesco’s recommendations and tips for restaurants, landmarks and transportation were spot-on. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and charming. The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

The hotel is really smart, and not only in the name :) Everything is built to make your stay comfortable: good soundproof windows to sleep well, personal airco and wifi (individual hotspot per room!), very good equiped bathroom, comfy bed! Breakfast is also very nice: tasty omlet, crispy bacon, fresh salads, yoghurts and homemade cakes and pastry. Stayed in 10+ hotels in Rome, and this one is definitely a good value for money.
