I would really recommend Four Rivers as it was in a fantastic location and the staff were brilliant. It was within easy walking distance to all the major sites and luckily for me there was a close by taxi rank, which was helpful, as I was unfortunately on crutches during my stay. A very personal hotel with "family feeling". Excellent location; perfect to be able to walk to all sights in the day and then just cross the bridge to have dinner in Trastevere in the evening. Very friendly people that were both very welcoming, helpful and keen to make sure we had a nice stay. The hotel staff was really friendly, I even got a little piece of chocolate on my pillow :) the breakfast was really simple but great, not overdone but just some cereals, breadrolls, cornettos, and various kinds of spreads.

We stayed here in February 2013 and our stay was great. The hotel was in a great location where we were able to walk to all attractions. The hotel is on a street where there is plenty of great restaurants and bars to relax in the evening before you head back.
The hotel room was large for Europe and the staff was very nice & helpful. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and has 4-5 private rooms. There is an elevator and they provide keys for access to the building.
