I have to say I was a bit nervous staying here after reading a lot of bad reviews but as most of Florence was booked out- we went ahead with it. We really enjoyed staying in Locabndo Gallo. The staff was excellent. They are extremely friendly. They gave us very good suggestions for places to visit and dine. You should definitely follow their suggestions.
The hotel is also located on a very convenient place, it is just 15 min walk form main train station and maybe 10-15 min walk from touristic places. The room is like you can see from the pics.

Great location. Stones throw away from the Duomo and the busy cute streets (city centre). Clean rooms and beautifully decorated. Very family friendly. There are only three rooms, in a charming apartment owned by an artist. It is steps away from the Doumo, yet very quiet. The feeling is that of a home, not a hotel or even a B&B. It is lovely. -

we stayed 3nights in Florence and were really happy with our choice for accommodation.
The staff was really friendly,and even suggested and booked us a one-day to Siena/San Giminiano, that we really enjoyed! The room was big and with nice furniture,clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was working perfectly ! Also there was also a kettle and some coffee/tea available.
Overall, would recommend.

Right after the booking I got an e-mail from the staff, which welcomed my booking and gave basic info about the B&B.
