The location is great, very close to the train station and in the center of everything. Very close to all attractions. The wifi works great and the breakfast in the room is acceptable. The bathroom is large and comfortable. Alfonso is very helpful, took good care of us and gave us many tips for sightseeing. We had a spectacular stay and definitely return to this hotel, is to recommend. It is the best hotel that i stayed in Italy. The price is very good considering the nice, large and comfortable room. It is very clean and bathroom has a heating racks that can make laundry try quickly, which is very convenient. It provided breakfast in the room and was very good. Staff is helpful with information.
all reviews » The guy who works the front desk and brings breakfast was so funny and friendly! He made our stay bright and cheerful. The breakfast includes croissants and coffee. Very good coffee. The room itself was clean and warm, and included a nice heated bathroom and beautiful wood floors. After lodging in a number of different places during our previous visits to Florence, this hotel was a very nice find indeed - we are definitely coming back next time! The location near railway station - and yet close to attractions of the old town center - is just perfect. Friendly staff, excellent location, great price. Small room but very comfortable: big fluffy towels, good quality bed linens, great shower, very very clean, and continental breakfast delivered to your door each morning at the time of your choosing. With this low price, they provided all the necesity. We asked for a room change after staying in the front room facing the street with pub below which are very noisy at night. The room is a bit small but comfortable but we're touring the city all day and return at night. The elevator is small and a bit scary. elevator was old, small and kind of scary looking--but it worked perfectly well. it was quite cold in the room (weather was not hot, that's why, I think), and breakfast could be a bit better, say, yoghurt and cheese could make it more pleasant :-). - Noisy neighborhood, bar across the road kept a buzy clientele till late in night. - Very small and buzy lift in the building, shared by many people thus making longer wait time. Very low flexibility. We asked for breakfast 15 minutes earlier than the regular time and we couldn't have it. At least they gave us a breakfast to go. Decor is a little dated but excellent value for the price. Breakfast is only served in your room but there is a table and 2 chairs in the room so this was ok. It's just coffee and croissants anyway. it was dificult to find because it didnt have a big sign outside but if you have the number of the building you will find it. The lift was very small. The only place we were biten by mosquitos in Italy...the room is small, and the elevator is funny: very tiny... We are two people with big backbags, have to squeeze into it! Breakfast is simple and provided with standard set every day... If you have a room over the street it's quite noisy at night. Noisy bar across street (don't forget to close the shutters!) Air conditioner worked one night but not the others. Hard to find, street numbers are confusing. it shares a building with other hotels, so there is only a small signboard at the building's main door, hard to find; drain in bathroom was a little clogged. Breakfast poor. No kettle in the room to get some cafe or tee. We had to ask staff to bring some hot water in the room. -. It is simply impossible to sleep till 2 am . Downstairs is a bar and every night till two it is a feeling that you are trying to sleep in the middle of the bar when party is still going on. So if you prefer to sleep during travelings - choose another hotel for sure . Our passports were left unattended on the reception desk. The shower was very cramped and drainage quite poor. The hotel is opposite a bar that is very noisy every night from 9 pm until 2 am. The window soundproofing is ineffective. This was the first hotel in four weeks travel that we returned to each night with some trepidation about how we were going to be allowed to sleep. The room was not preperly cleaned and being old that showed even more. The bathroommshouldmhave been cleaner or better still, renovated. Also, lots of noise as underneath the rooms theres the high street and a bar open till early morning hours. Very noisy place with the bar opened till 3 a.m. close to the hotel. We had only one key with my daughter, which for some reason we cannot leave at the receiption, and each time I returned alone, I had to ask for the addtional key, and they only opened the door and didn't allowed me to lock it inside... room too small, building very old, lift really small and poor quality, can only fit in 1-2 persons at a time. Quite expensive for what you get. It really needs to be reformed, walls are dirty, old curtains... The room was quite small, and there is no place to put the breakfast tray (it´s served in the room)... the guy on night shift was very rude. Very noisy neighborhood.Our room was not even cleaned! Bad services!. Too tiny and facility simple. Almost everything. Please be careful about the place of the hotel. It is close to the train station, but almost impossible to find if you forget the number of the building. Even with the number it is difficult, because number system is a bit different on that road and even a shop keeper two buildings after the hotel, did not know where it is. small and dirty rooms, noisy surrounding. not that much helpful staff. awful breakfast. tutto. Very old rooms.no confort.very primitive bathrooms.very bad warm water services. Really a poor hotel.
