It is hard to fault this place. It is near the railway and bus stations, easy walking to all points of interest in Florence. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff are very helpful. The neighbourhood is noisy but the shutters and windows block out nearly all of it. The Hotel itself represents outstanding value for money. Hotel is situated near the center of the city and the main points of interest. Cosy atmosphere, design, room is very clean, the stuff is friendly, breakfast is OK, parking service.

Comfort, cleanliness, quietness, attentive staff, good bathroom with excellent separate shower and 24 hour reception. The 2 minute walk to the station was brilliant, coming and going, although the walk to, say, the Bargello, was longish for me [in my sixties and with a dodgy hip].this was our second visit to the hotel we also stayed in 2007, their standards had not changed, and the staff were very helpful. Heating system didn't work; one day the housekeeping left a dirty bath towel; blow dryer hose was torn; bathroom lights needed repair. Rooms need to be inspected by hotel management more often.Our room was heated by an air-conditioner. It was very noisy until the morning. Airco noise was too loud at night, but it was improved a little after complain. Bad was a little bit hard.

Arriving at the central station of S. Maria Novella, the hotel can be reached easily by a 5 minute walk. Alight from the train and exit the station to the right. Cross the pedestrian crossing, turn left, and proceed along Via S. Caterina da Siena. The hotel will appear in front of you.

By Car:
- Whether arriving from the North or South, the most advisable motorway exit is Florence - Signa (A1).
- At the exit, follow the indications for the town centre.
- Then follow the directions for the central railway station. From the station, turn into Via Santa Caterina da Siena, and the hotel will appear in front of you.
- Staff will be happy to see to the parking of your vehicle in a nearby safe garage, with which the hotel has an agreement.

By Plane:
From Vespucci Florence Airport:
