When first finding the hotel we were amazed. It has a grand entryway into a gravel parking lot that was almost empty. The hotel/restaurant is stunning and very beautiful. The eager to please staff speak a little English, a bit more French, and we got by with a combo of English, Italian and French. Our room must have been one of the best in the hotel, with French doors opening onto a little balcony with a nice view of the mountains. all reviews » Loved this Hotel! Beautiful setting only 3 minutes walk from the lake front and ferry. Cernobbio has some excellent restaurants and lovely little lakeside village. Easy to walk everywhere within a few minutes and make sure you go for a day trip to Bellergio. A great vaue hotel, excellent quality, refurbished and very clean rooms with free WiFi, Free Sky T.V and everything you need for a perfect stay, including quality bedding/linen and towels. Hotel restuarant menu was small but interesting and the food well-cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was varied and more than sufficient for most people. Apparetnly you could ask for cooked items, but this was not made clear. Small family hotel, more like a B&B in some ways. Free wi-fi worked well, it did not have a security password. We would stay there again. This hotel was perfect. My husband and I were there for the weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had a great stay, everything was perfect, staff(owners?); location; room inc balcony. Breakfast was very good and included freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit salad. We enjoyed a superb meal in the restaurant one night, and enjoyed our stay enormously, so much in fact that we stayed an extra night. We highly recommend this hotel. The staff were delightful and most helpful. We were very warmly greeted on arrival and offered a drink on the house. The restaurant is first class. The owner, Sergio is a real gentleman and Paulo , the restaurant manager is unique. Both speak good English and are very entertaining. Can't think of anything. We had a balcony but unfortunately with a view of a wall. Room was small but adequate with a very big bathroom!. The weather!!. The restaurant prices are a little high vs. other options in town. Pressure to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Bed was hard, not comfortable.
