Everything was just great-the stuff (all speaking English) was welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic to serve me whatever my needs were. Room was well ergonomically designed, the bed was very comfortable- so after 10 hrs of walking in beautiful Venice I was able to rest and fully recharge for the next day. The setting of the hotel is the most relaxing, it has beautiful private garden, lots of shade, and it is quiet. The resto is great, beautiful dining area; fantastic food and the chef will make.

Just 200 meters you can get on bus that goes to Venice last-first stop where you can start your tour.(bus no. 5 and 19 you can get and purchase tickets for these busses from reception with same cost as in ticket offices) Every one in the hotel was so professional and kind, the rooms are clean and comfortable and heating works well. We felt like we are at home. Wine selections are good. There is a green garden that childrens can play. Free car parking is als. Barbara, Marco and Gabriella were absolutely amazing. In our 4day stay they really made us feel at home. Marco once woke up at 4am after he heard us in the lobby to see if we were ok and needed anything. They genuinely cared for pur comfort and helped us in so many things such as giving us generous info on where to go etc., packing us breakfast when we checked out early morning And Marco actually gave us a ride to the airport because we were runnig late. About the actual hotel, the rooms were n. Where to begin - our stay in Hotel Antica Fenice was beyond excellent. The hospitality of the people working in Hotel Antica was unbelievable. The service was superb, the room was very nice and cozy, and breakfast was great. The location of the hotel is also great. Close to the bus stop and in less than 8 minutes you're in Venice. We have received excellent tips from the staff on what to do and how to get around the Venice itself. One additional thing that was great was the fact that parking wa. The whole experience was great. The staff was excellent; room was very clean and food was delicious. The hotel is a renovated ancient venetian villa, decorated with style and elegance. Location was very convenient; far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city, but convenient enough to reach the major Venetian attractions as the bus station is only 10 minute walk. Shuttle service was also impressive. The driver helped us with the luggage and even went ahead and paid 1 euro (out of his pocke. The location is a 10 minute bus ride to downtown Venice or the airport and you can buy the tickets at the reception desk (1.30 Euro either way) with bus stop 50 yards up the road. Would recommend thi. The hotel felt like home! They spoke English well. You could get bus tickets on site and easy walk to the bus stop for easy in and out of Venice. Grocery store across the street gas station next door. Lovely restaurant with great food! Breakfast nice as well. They have great wine on site as well and 2 bottles of free water was a definite bonus for us! The parking was great and it was easy to find once we figured out how to get over the bridge. He gave us a map of Venice, circled all the places of interest and showed us a way to see as many of them as we could in the time we had. There is a seafood restaurant on-site and the food was delicious. The breakfast buffets also had a decent selection. Above all, the location was perfect. First of all - the staff. They are really friendly and helpful. That's why you feel yourself very comfortable. Secondly, the hotel is very stylish and it's pleasant to be in. It is 10 minutes by bus to Venice and there are buses till midnight (return from Venice is 20 min due to some deviation). the staff were very friendly, they explained us very well how to reach pisa, and have maps and tickets available as well, the location is right next to the bus stop and the bus to pisa takes 10 minutes. food was very nice and the breakfast is very good with nice variety. definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Everything was just great, no negative comments!. That there is construction in the area and the main bridge is closed so you need to cross earlier than your gps will tell you. Sorry, I liked everything. The restaurant was quite expensive and had mostly sea-food. It is a little bit isolated but that's not a big issue if one spends his time in Venice. One, though very little, minus is the location. It is good - you can reach Venice in 15 minutes - but that's if you catch a bus quickly. Unfortunately, in the evening buses are not that frequent, so you may wait near half an hour to leave Venice. Also, sometimes you just cannot jump in a bus because it's full. While Venice itself was crowded and overpriced, Antica Fenice was a nice retreat. price but it reflects the area. not much choice for breakfast and at 82 euros per night expected more. The only caution is the first bus ride from the airport to the hotel. Our bus driver was not familiar with the Hotel, did not speak English, and was not real helpful. It would be helpful if the hotel adds a map to their website showing the bus route and the location of the hotel on bus route, and the location of the bus stops. No lift so you have to carry your bags up the stairs however the staff are more than willing to help. Allll good!. Nothing really, although we did have some reception problem with thw wifi, but it was fixed as soon as we mentioned it. Small rooms. Restaurant prices fairly high. Rooms not in main building probably better.
