Hotel with amazing views of Lake Como. Picture the typical movie scene of opening your eyes and having a view of a lake with mountains in the background...That is this hotel :-) Very hepful staff and a good location for exploring the little town of Bellagio and with the ferry a 1 minute walk from the hotel you can explore the whole Lake. (tip: We were a bit late with this, but you can rent little boats (40 horsepower) that you don't need a license for to use. Seemed very cool and we will defo d.
all reviews » we booked a room with part view and was the last one as Bellagio gets very booked in the summer. I emailed and asked if we could have an upgrade if a lake view became available as it was my 50th birthday and to my surprise when we got there we had the best room in the hotel. the views were the most fantastic site I've ever seen and well worth the extra cost but be prepared its very expensive every where. staff were very friendly and helpful. it was clean and a lovely terrace for breakfast. Family run hotel in an ideal location in Bellagio, up the hill just a bit away from the crowds on the main waterfront street, but not so far up that you have a hear attack climbing with your luggage. Hotel appears to have been recently refurbished and is beautifully decorated. The hotel is family run and all staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This is a fantastic hotel in a fantastic place. The owner and her son were unbelievably helpful, warm and friendly. Great breakfast with fresh breads, juices and made to order coffees. Super clean and nice. Ideal location with great view of the lake. Can't wait to go back. The position of Hotel Bellagio is sensational. The view from our window was surreal - a pinch yourself moment. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms very clean, breakfast was good and good room temperature given it was 35 degrees most days. Very historical, friendly locals and great restaurants serving fish fresh from the lakes. We plan to go again next year we loved it so much. Really beautiful view from room 404, you must get this room, even if you pay extra for it. Clean, basic but comfortable design, great staff on the front desk. ROMM 404 - INCREDIBLE VIEWS!!!!!. the view from our room was fantastic, worth paying the extra for the lake view. was very central to all the shops thou the entrance to hotel is up stairs so if you are unfit or have very heavy luggage it might be a struggle, for us it was fine. The hotel is located in the center of the town, 2 minutes to the lake by walk. The room with lake view is excellent. But make sure to book the room above 2 floor otherwise the view will be blocked by buildings in front. The Hotel is very well situated.The staff here are charming and very courteous. The rooms and hotel in in general are immaculate. The view from the front upper levels are fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. It has a million dollar view. The key to open the door and get electricity in room is not easy to use. This town is on the side of the mountains and as such there are a lot of stairs everywhere - including access to the hotel which although are not too steep are worth considering if you are not too light on your feet, have young children or like us are very lazy. There is no bar but you can use the Hotel Du Lac's. There was no tea and coffee making facilities and the shower was pretty small. We had chosen this hotel specifically because it said it offered secured parking for our motorbike, but we had to leave it outside by the ferry port where it was ok in the end, but we were worried about it throughout our stay. Also, it would have been nice for a congratulations at least as it was our honeymoon!. Absolutely nothing! Couldn't ask for a better place to stay!!. Some fresh meats and cheeses at breakfast would have topped off a fantastic stay. WIFI is very very slow at certain times of the day. Breakfast is just ok with minimal selection and coffee is poor. I recommend heading out to one of the local cafes for much better choice. The steps up to the entrance were pretty but quite hard to negotiate with heavy suitcases. Access to the hotel is difficult, particularly when customers have to carry their luggage on many steps. Nothing, but I would recommend paying the extra for a room with a view. English channels did not work on TV. Staff tried to fix it but couldnt. Just wanted to watch news on tv in evening and could not. The town was almost closed. Very hard to find a restaurant open. Had to eat at a bar. It is a bed and breakfast so you have to advice time of arrival so they open the door for you. nothing. None. No complaints at all!!. No fridge in the room. everything was great. Curtains didn't block out morning sun. Mind the steps with luggage to your hotel, but staff came down and carried ours up to the reception. There are a lot of steps up to the hotel , not good for anyone with walking difficulties or joint problems( knees , hips). Be aware there are 30 odds steps you have to carry luggage up (just like all of bellagio). Nothing. having to carry suitcases up and down the cobblestone steps! However if one of the reception guys were on duty were quick to offer assistance with bags down to the street. Parking was an issue as there was no possibility of reserved parking as advertised. That said the staff did advise on free parking relatively nearby but risky to get back in there if you used your car in the day. A definite consideration when booking if you would like to use you car to tour around the lake. Also, the steps up to the hotel are quite a climb if health is an issue. These comments are an observation rather than a critisism. It would have been great to have a coffee maker in the room. Hard pillows Difficult access with luggage.
