This apartment was quite big for the price, was nice to have some space. The hotels/apartments in the area are expensive so you get what you pay for really, it was basic in terms of luxury but reminded us of a quirky loft/apartment that an artist would live in, the lay out is a little different to a one bed flat in UK so we found it nice. We didn't really use the kitchen but I wouldn't really like to cook in it, there is no cooker but instead a microwave and a plug in hob, there was plenty of c.
all reviews » Owner Giulio is just fantastic! He greeted us with wine and plate of cheese and pizza selection. He owns also a really nice bar and mini buffet restaurant where he extends his hospitality. The apartment is located in the heart of the town, at the main pedestrian street, there is no better location in Bellagio. I highly recommend both the apartments (which are very spacious) and Bellagio. Bellagio is great place for those who ate looking for convenient site seeing location, but also nice restaur. The welcome staff were wonderful at the internet point; we too were greeted with tapas and wine - very nice after a very long trip! Apartment is basic and clean with comfortable beds and nice linen. Washing machine was convenient (no dryer, tho). Be advised the balcony isnt; its just a step outside the front door with lots of people coming and going to the suites above, and no patio seating(they shouldn't really advertise the "balcony"). Despite this, Bellagio Apartments are a great value in an. Given we turned up early and the apartment was not ready...the welcome was excellent.....possibly the best we have had in our many years of travel. The welcome conversation was exceptional....Henry is a gem. The apartment was as described budget accommodation but it was warm,well equipped and clean. The apartment was ideally located in central Bellagio, just steps from great shopping and restaurants, and close to the ferries for access to other lake towns. Two separate bedrooms, washing machine (no dryer), kitchen with lots of utensils and the necessary appliances if you want to cook. Spacious. Great welcome from Giulio and others at the checkin point. Annamarie from Bellagio Point was an excellent hostess. The apartment had a washing machine which is very useful for travellers on a longer visit. Situated in the very heart of the Borgo and straight downhill to the boats but mind the cobbled steps!! Don't forget to visit Bilacus especially try the pannacotta. It gets in our European top ten. Everything went quite well for us. The location of the apartments are perfect, exactly at the center of Bellagio. The apartment we stayed in had all the basic needs, nothing looked fancy but it was all good enough. The best of all was the free wifi, which we sometimes needed to plan our trip. Excellent welcome by the staff and Giulio. Location is easy to find and it is right in the centre of the village. Like any Italian village it has steps so be prepared. We would stay here again. Nice spacious apartment within the heart of Bellagio and the staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. A very spacious apartment for two people - nice and airy. Beautiful location. Warm welcome. Adequate apartment. The check in is down the road at a bar/small eatery, but the staff were helpful and we were left to our own devices after check in/out, so that was fine. Wifi not so good in the bedroom but ok & free. Also the floor is pretty old in this apartment but it adds to the character and overall 'shabby chic' feel. Everything was just great. They need better lighting in livingroom, at least a floor lamp. We brought our lamps from the bedroom to livingroom in the evenings. Be prepared for town-centre noise during the night. Parking can be difficult to find, but once you find a spot you can leave your car there because you won't need it. Could have done with some mugs for tea and coffee as the cups provided were too small. Lots of steeps stairs to get to apartment and then to door. Difficult for older or disabled travellers. Floor of apartment very dirty. Needs more attention to maintenance...curtains kept falling down if opened and closed as curtain rods not properly secured.
