Location is terrific; on one of the main streets and right next door to the beautiful opera house. A 5 minute walk to the waterfront promenade; 10-15 min. to the edge of the old town. Hotel front desk was very helpful with restaurant suggestions, how to find a book store, etc. Room was spacious, com-fortable and quiet. Excellent break- fast in attractive room. Real scrambled eggs, nice croissants, ex-cellent cappucino, fresh orange juice and much more.

The hotel staff went out of their way to help me get to the town and commmunicate with people that shared the same last name. I will be back. I had a few requests that were accommodated above and beyond my expectations, the staff is extremely helpful. Good value for what you pay for as well. I checked in at 1.30 am which was not a problem at all. The staff was very welcoming and did their best to help me with any queries Breakfast was beautifully presented and gorgeous I liked the proximity of the hotel to the train station and its very quiet airconditioning. Location - where all the action is, shopping, waterfront, dining etc. Stumbled onto the Teatro Petruzzelli Opera House and took in Cosi' Fan Tutte opera for 15 euros per ticket - what a deal!!! Sometimes the breakfast refesh rate is rather slow, so better take a early start. Wireless internet seems to avalaibe only on the first floor and on the public areas. On upper floors LAN is avalaible (11 euro). However the LAN Cable is short therefore you need to work at the desk. No gym. The noisy traffic sounds. We were travelling with a car and parking is paid but understandible being in the centre. TV seemed to be only pay to view,but it might be that I didn't spend much time in room to check further. Hassle over using computers in the lobby- no printer available - so had to email boarding pass to reception desk for them to print it off for me. A simple thing but SO time consuming yet it must be a regular thing for visitors to do. Everything was great!. Breakfast flattered to deceive. I liked everything. Service somewhat ill conceived. Very little tourist information or assistance. The reception sent me on a wild goose chase looking for how to book passage from Bari to Dubrovnik only to find after much walking and confusion that the booking office is five minutes walk from the hotel. From Italy leave from another port. The town is not tourist friendly to non Italian speakers by and large. May want to book a Double rather than Single room if staying for longer as Singles are quite small if you want to work, have a lot of luggage, ect. Quite noisy and from time to time some stink from the city. But if you want the countryside sound and smell you don't stay in the city, I think. wifi is not free in the room. Nothing. Very difficult to find, we spent a good hour late in the evening looking for it due to lack of signs. The hotel name was discretely shown on either side of the door so was extremely hard to spot when in a strange car in a strange city late at night. Nothing. wifi in room is not free, breakfast is too samply. no free wifi in room. Most rooms seem to have views on internal coutyards - ask for external view. -holes in the window -pretty old.
