We really loved the welcome we received from Paulo the lovely lady, who was so friendly and kind.She made us very welcome to Alghero and explained where we could get buses and find supermarkets. The room,bathroom and balcony were spotless and extremely comfy.The apartments are literally minutes from the centre of Alghero and bus stops.Paulo had provided tea ,sugar and a kettle and later added coffee and a lemon which was lovely.Breakfast was set out each morning in a little room right next to o.
all reviews » Paula was a wonderful hostess, greeting us on arrival and explaining everything, including giving us details on local tourist spots. The room was large, comfortable and clean (cleaned every day after 10am). It looked exactly like it did in the photos. We had a fridge, a hairdryer, ample storage space and a view of the sea. The room itself is quiet even when it's busy outside. Breakfast was decent with a large choice of beverages and foods. The location was perfect for exploring the city (5 mins. The location is perfect as it is between the old town and the long beaches and it has view of port. You can walk everywhere. Lo Smeraldo is situated in the heart of Alghero, few minutes from the Old City and Harbour. Liked the colourful room (exactly as the on the pic’s) Charming and very clean. Fridge and hair dryer, thick towels. The bed was not to hard (as common in Italy) We had a also balcony and a sea view. Calm area. Paula is fixing everything and she’s a beautiful and caring hostess. Free Wifi and it’s working perfectly. A big free parkingplace just outside. Everything was wonderful during the stay here!!! Lovely room, the B&B is very close to old city and to bus stop and it was very convenient to travel to another cities. Everything just right. There is no soundproof in the rooms and you can hear all noise, but it is typical to most of the hotel, so it doesn't disturb a lot. Receptionist not there at all the time, but wasn't a problem for as. small balcony and the bathroom smells a little. Poor breakfast. No sea view from the window as it was promissed. And actually, there is a big parking and all windows coming to this parking. The room wasn't clean at all, we found some dirty tea spoons on the table not washed after the previous guests. The breakfast was a vast of time.
