impression was of a generous host offering a welcome and refreshments

I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .

The woman running the B 'n' B was friendly, helpful, accommodating to all our needs. My daughter and her one year old child were travelling in Ireland for 10 days. We stayed our first 2 days here. We enjoyed it so much we could have stayed here for the entire time, so we asked if she had room for us for our last 2 days when we returned to Dublin.

Bed was the comfiest i have ever slept in, pillows were fluffy. Hygiene Standards were the highest i have seen.

Breakfast was gorgeous, it was clear that the food provided was of a high standard and after some discussion with staff member it was clear that alot of thought went into quality and taste, yummy and there was plenty of it too.

This adorable place was so nice, clean and comfortable. The owners were just a delight. Our room was wonderful and comfortable. Location was perfect just outside of town about a few miles and easy access to the bus system into town center. Breakfast was amazingly great and filling!! We are regular visitors to Dublin and always stay at the Roxford Lodge. The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble...even arriving early in the morning. Stayed for 5 nights on July 2013. I had great experience. The location couldn't be more central, just 2 minutes walk from Temple Bar and 5 minutes from Dublin Castle. The rooms are very large and very well equipped and the bed extremely comfortable. The facilities are very modern but the interior designing is pleasant and warm.
