I stayed post valentines day with my partner and unexpectedly got
engaged! It was a perfect setting and I adored the decor of the
courtyard suites...was only sorry we could not stay and enjoy them
longer. Staff were very friendly but not intrusive. We ate in Darbys
which struck a nice balance between good (not gourmet) food and relaxed
atmosphere.

Staff was friendly, service was impeccable. Earl of Thormond restaurant had fabulous food and attentive wait staff. Gluten free options available.
Breakfast was delicious as well with many options.
Falconry lesson was a great experience with friendly and knowledgeable handler. TJ was a Harris Falcon and not intimidating.

The beautiful location! The grounds are wonderful and well kept. You just can't beat it. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are large and have heated mirrors so they never fogged up. The staff is hospitable and informative. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return to take advantage of all the amenities.

The staff in this hotel were excellent - friendly, helpful, couteous. In fact as one who stays in lots of hotels they were some of the best I have come across and they need to be commended. That alosne would bring me back but also the view, the location etc is first class. Will definitely come back. -

Very friendly staff at reception on checking in, and out. Got an upgrade, really appreciated! Unfortunately had to leave very early next morning! - The ambiance of the whole place is so restful. It is very quiet, the food is excellent and the staff are very helpful and polite.

The Hotel and room were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The view of the river and garden at the back of the hotel is stunning to look out on and if the weather was right prefect to sit out on the decked area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Wifi connection available in the bedrooms. -

Beautiful grounds, the view of the cascades, the front of hotel was gorgeous. The spa was fantastic, outdoor hot tub was a real treat. Pool at night time provided a great ambience. Sauna with glass wall again contributed to lovely atmosphere. Lovely service in Thai restaurant and a great meal. Breakfast had great selection also. Location was great
