  Location is nice and quite. It has convienant services close to it such as grocery store and resturants. Spacious apartments. Good for families - Cleaners were excellent; apartment fittings are high spec. Area is quiet at night.

  I've used the Ferryman on a regular basis during 2013, weekly at one stage...it's simply great value for money...very central location beside IFSC, Spencer Dock and Grand Canal Dock. Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, O2 and city centre within walking distance or a short bus or taxi ride. The rooms are comfortable and clean, tea & coffee, tv, wi-fi, pa... what people say » inless booking and check-in/check-out, and a lovely breakfast with a choice of cereals, an authentic full Irish cooked breakfast, plenty of juice, tea - The breakfasts were lovely and the staff very friendly. The room had a lovely view of the Liffey. The beds were comfy and the rooms cleaned each day. The manager helped us with our luggage, as did the breakfast staff when we were leaving. Ten out of ten for the staff - they were great. The hotel is close to the city, we walked to O'Connell St and Temple Bar, easy walk and very safe. Close to the centre of the city - only took about 8 mins on the bus which you could catch at the end of the road.   I stayed on the barge with my two children aged 8 and 12. We used to live in Dublin so wanted something "different" to make it more interesting and the barge was certainly that! Trish and her husband (the owners) had thought of lots of "extras" to make us comfortable and to make life easier for us. I had expected it to feel a bit like camping b... what people say » ut I really couldn't have asked for anything more - I would definitely recommend a stay on the barge and hope to return soon. Whilst we didn't use th - Location was great. Hosts were better than great, such fun to stay on this barge and really comfortable. The canal option was so good and our friends young kid loved watching it all unfold....so did the adults. You want for little staying with Dublin Barge Hire and its right downtown walking distance to Trinity College, all the museums, and the new Rugby/ Soccer stadium. Not to mention just a block from the train station to go out to Howth! Cannot recommend enough, wonderful and fun for both of
