We stayed here for a wedding that was being held in Whites hotel. Riverbank was €150 cheaper than Whites and that was the main reason we stayed. On arrival (Fri) lovely lady at check in gave us all the details of breakfast etc. Also told us that the car park they had was very small so if we couldn't get a spot there to park up at the swimming pool as it was free to park there otherwise we would have to pay for the public car park. Location, service, food A1. Just spent a very relaxing evening / overnight at the Ferrycarrig. Dining in the bar overlooking the Slaney. Perfect. I had to bring forward my booking as I have to take the ferry a week earlier. No problem to them just come and enjoy. I have loved every moment of my stay here. As it is Easter break from school there are a lot of children about but NO problem at all.
Excellent staff. Well done Ferrycarrig prepare to put up with this traveller again.
