Clean warm rooms helpfull pleasent staff. Booked room only for two nights had breakfast on the first morning which was lovely, we received an emergency phone call from home and had to check out after one night explained this at reception and they very kindley only charged us for one night and did not charge us for the breakfast. Just like to say thank you to the Hearnes hotel staff.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean bedding and towels, lovely hot water and excellent breakfast every morning. Perfect location for touring. Good, free car parking, we stayed for 7 nights and we were warned about a late disco which was not as late as we're used to. Good value for money and would visit again.all reviews »
The staff were lovely. Breakfast was fabulous, I wasnt able to eat it all but my husband finished his. Room was nice and comfortable. It was very central to shops etc. but it being a bank holiday we shops were shut. I had a great time during my stay at hearns hotel.
I will go back there again for a weekend away.

The staff were very friendly and relaxed,
The place was spotlessly clean,
Very nice place to visit absolutely no fuss with a good residents bar.
It's an old, old, very historical building, that is in need of a serious up-grade, but is loaded with character.

Staff friendly, helpful.
Friendly staff and attached club made for a brilliant night out in Clonmel.
The best poach eggs and mushrooms for breakfast I have ever had!!!.
A very good Hearty breakfast and a great family run hotel.
Value and location. Also late bar facilities.
Its location on main street
Friendly staff.

the bed was comfortable.
We just like the town of Clonmel.
The staff were friendly.
The location.
nothing.
carpets in some areas stained, but generally is an old building which has some charming features.
When I arrived at first I thought it was very dingy but it wasnt too bad after. There was a disco which kept us awake on the Sun night. Also the alarm went off, by some night reveller but we got back to sleep. I have nothing negative to say about my stay here.
The room was above the disco and whilst I thought the music was fine, the effect on the fixtures in the room (i.e. the room light was making a noise where being shaken) was a little annoying.
We did know we were above the disco as we had been advised.
smokey smell in the back staircase but this is more due to the smoking area being close by.
Breakfast a bit basic
Bedroom furniture could have been better
Tea, coffee was in the wardrobe & kettle on floor.
A bit noisy late due to live music/Disco.
Cold shower, low flow.
Rooms are basic but were perfect for what we wanted!.
unfortunate we could not eat at the hotel.
Parking - no access had to find alternative. Trying to get back into hotel from pub was a bit difficult.
No breakfast unless pre-booked.
cold.
Cold water for shower.
The stairwell upto the bedrooms smells, the carpet is in poor shape.
dated could do with a revamp and a good dusting especially in reception area hot water cold shower lukewarm tea.
no drinking water in room.
Shabby hotel. Noise high due to disco on ground floor. NO LIFT! Probably nice once but needs decorating. Interesting room...floor slopes, wardrobe slopes (clothes slid to the side on the hangers!), 2 electric points in room did not work. Kettle and tea in the wardrobe!! Floor boards on stairs not too good, hole covered by carpet.
No hot water in shower.
Lack of restaurant , no lifts and coldness of room.
no hot or even warm water.
very grubby in areas and could do with a revamp esp in public areas & bathrooms in bedrooms.
Once you went through the doors from reception, everything was very old and tired, Bedroom clean but for a non smoking room smelt of cigerettes and everything need a facelift.
Very very loud - walls and doors paper thin so hear everything including someone being sick very noisly all night long and night club and bar open late with smokers standing outside making loud noise most of the night - felt like only got 2 hours sleep at most!.
i think i saw in the room blood on the on the wall in the bathroom ,no wifi internet on the room , tv not working ,and the most important thing i get shock when the fire alarm ring at 3 pm when i book i saw free wifi internet.
loud noise staff not very helpful dirty room was like a prison there was frosted windows in the bedroom yet clear glass in the bathroom shower wasnt working properly.
No hot breakfast only continental. ..
Room wasn't very clean floor in bathroom sticky not cleaned mould around windows carpets in hallways filthy and smelling of smoke, floors in reception were stinking as if they were washed with a mop from toilet smelt of urine, breakfast room was horrid very dirty ordered full irish which was mostly deep fried yuck didnt eat it.
Not being able to sleep ant night because of loud music.
no heat in bathroom
no heat in rooms until after 4pm on a november day.
no food available in hotel as kitchen under restoration.
Residents shouting in corridors at 3am outside bedroom .
No answer to phone call made to reception at this time of disturbance.carpets dirty and smelly on the stairs .
i could go on and on.
it was a discusting hotel.
Well the room was very dark there was a problem with the hot water.the
carpet on the stairs is very dirty.we won't stay at the Hearns
again.it was not worth €120 for the two nights without breakfast.
The hotel was filthy, carpets were covered in dust and smelled of beer. The key to my room also opened the door to a nearby room which I went into accidentally. Broken furniture and old mattresses were piled at the back of the meeting room. Milk was gone off at breakfast. I've never ever complained about a hotel and have stayed in some basic places but this was absolutely horrific. I'd never stay again.
Cold, dirty, poor room with broken appliances, poor shower, broken window latches, dirty carpets. I would not recommend this hotel.
the filth of the hotel, no cooked breakfast available, no lift, decor filthy, i would not recommend it to anyone , no place to park stayed only one night , a tent would be better, he said no charge and better not.
this is 2 times we were caught by booking through your site so will be more careful in future but this was our worst worst experience.
