Nice restaurant; lovely breakfast; friendly, helpful staff; town centre location, everything spotless - every room, bathroom, stairs, tiolet, carpet, plate, knife and spoon. Well done especially to the extremely hard working cleaning lady - who vacuumed, wiped and mop from the top floor to the basement every day - and still made time for a hello, a smile and an enquiry as to how you were enjoying your visit to Clonmel.
all reviews » Hi. My room was very quiet. No noise. Bed single. Maybe a bit small but still very comfortable. The view from my window was good .. . . . even though I was in the middle of the town. The church was across from my window and very relaxing to sit and admire the structure. The waitress in dining was very courteous and meal service was very good. Meal was excellent. Staying @ Befani's is always a pleasure. Spacious rooms, complimenatry wi-fi, excellent food, nice staff. I always try to stay there when in the area. The annex restaurant is really outstanding: quality of food, presentaton of the dishes are something you'll not find easily anywhere else. Lovely rooms in a great location with a good restaurant serving three meals a day - what's not to like? We really enjoyed our time in Clonmel, not a major tourist town, the pace is relaxed and the people were incredibly warm and friendly. The welcome was excellent and food (dinner and breakfast) very enjoyable. Room was comfortable too. Proximity to traditional Irish pubs was also a benefit. Probably a great place to spend a few days in summer months. We would definitely recommend this guesthouse. Staff extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here.
