The room was pristine clean and I was delighted when I stepped into the bathroom in my bare feet - the tiles were warm with underfloor heating and there were heated towel rails.   What an amazing stay we had at the Castle Mews. We didn't actually meet the amazing Dolores until the morning at breakfast (she had to pick up her 'scallywag son' - her delightful words), but she left helpful voice mails & notes at the house and my friend & I were able to get settled in & ready with no problem. After a LATE night out at the castle feast & Durty Nellies we stumbled in for our (thankfully) late breaky and had the be - The owner of the Mews is such a sweet heart. So very welcoming! The mews is a real interesting place and the breakfast is to your heart content! The mews is literally 10 mins walk from the castle. No car needed. If you attend a late banquet, don't forget to pack a torch with you for your way back!

Also, glad to see an elevator, itwas nice that we did not have to carry our heavy luggage upstairs as wehave at other BandB'S. The staff was very friendly and thoughtful.   We were late getting to the bunratty guesthouse because we went to the bunratty castle banquet and checked in after that. They were very gracious about our late check in, the bed and breakfast was very close to the bunratty castle, was a beautiful location, was very comfortable and clean, had wifi in the room, and the owner was very accommodating,... what people say » kind, friendly and helpful. It was our favorite bed and breakfast while in Irelan - For a B&B service, and those who love to stay with a personal touch, I will say that Bunratty Grove Guesthouse is the ideal place with its charming hosts, a cheerful looking house, cosy atmosphere and nearby attractions and local restaurants, pubs ...   The hostess was so friendly! She made tea for us when we got there in the afternoon. Then, she drove us to Bunratty castle (so we could just take a cab back if we drank that night).   A great location to see local sites. The staff went above and beyond to help us book a hotel for the next night when we had to change our plans. Would highly recommend both the hotel and location. Thanks - Even though it was only for a night our stay was very satisfactory regarding the surroundings and the peace and tranquility.
