    Loved Bernadette who was so helpful in planning the next leg of our trip and in recommending hiking and restaurants. Breakfasts were excellent, room was comfortable and clean, and the house itself is beautiful. We loved the rural setting with grazing cows out the bedroom window and Galway Bay across from the house. The honesty bar is a neat idea a... what people say » lso. - This is a superb guest house just outside the lovely town of Ballyvaughan. Its has a beautiful view of the bay. The rooms are charming, and theirs was perhaps the best breakfast we have had in Ireland-which is saying a lot. - This is a lovely, accommodating place with friendly faces and fantastic food. The honor bar was a really nice addition to the amenities, too. Wish we could have stayed longer and would recommend Drumcreehy House to friends.

    The Waters Country House is unique and very special. There is a wonderful atmosphere pervading the whole house, from the gentle sound of water from the spring over which the house is built and the very quiet esoteric music in the entrance area, to the delightful and cosy sitting rooms and the inviting breakfast room. Bedrooms, bathrooms and the b... what people say » reakfast leave nothing to be desired. Guests surely feel that for the time they stay there they have entered a fascinating world. Wolfgang, the owner, - Set in a beautiful environment, this is a really unique place. Loved the spaciousness of the lounge and library and how at the end of the day we would arrive back to candles lit and the fire going and could sit with a glass of wine available from the bar. Sometimes there other guest to chat with (which we enjoyed) but if you wanted total quiet to reflect on your day you could sit in the library. The bedrooms were lovely and the bed comfortable.
