The hotel is located 2km away from Dublin Airport - easy to get there by taxi (about 9 euro), bus (2 euro, timetable is available on reception) or on foot (probably about 20 - 30 min. to go, didn't try it). Quite hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, nice smelling bedclothes and towels, good breakfast, affable staff, adequate price. I arrived at 1 p.m. - there was no problem with check - in. Perfect place to have a rest before next flight, I was absolutely satisfied.

Hotel only open three days when I stayed here paint still smelled fresh in the lobby! All facilites perfect stayed here before flying following morning. Would recommend for this purpose! This adorable place was so nice, clean and comfortable. The owners were just a delight. Our room was wonderful and comfortable. Location was perfect just outside of town about a few miles and easy access to the bus system into town center. Breakfast was amazingly great and filling!! I would recommend to everyone to stay here if you want a quieter setting but still be very close to town center. Also they have a beautiful outside garden area and the flowers are just beautiful.

Every room had a parking space alotted to it... Was close to the cityonly cost €15 for taxi and they were continously passing the door. Theresidents bar was brilliant and alot cheaper than dublin prices!!! Andthere was no real closing time aslong as we didnt get too round. One ofthe most comfortable bed i've ever slept in! I found Egans to be the best possible combination of a 'chain' hotel and a private guest house. We rented a room for 5 people. It was a full size bed, and 3 twin beds crammed together in a very small room. We only stayed one night here, so being crammed together one night was no big deal. We had our own bathroom plus there was a public bathroom right outside of our door. The lady at the desk was very helpful and informative. She told us of our various options of getting into the city, which is a good distance away.
