I like the clean and spacious rooms with existing extra large king bed and a single bed ( not an extra bed ). I stayed in room 201 and it is upstairs so less noise (if any) coming from the swimming pool. We stayed the triple room at ground level, pool is just outside the hotel, adult can just stay at hotel balcony overseeing the children swimmings. N/A. a bit smelly in bathroom. Not possible to make phone calls outside. Not flexible in check out time 2pm is very normal in other places. Visa debit cards are not accepted and we saw it only on the reception desk. Although we were very tired upon arrival and asked to pay in cash tomorrow, they insisted to go to the exchange office the same day and bring the cash. Another thing: there is no organized food-drink service around swimming pool, so we could not fully enjoy. Salty water and mosquitoes. Plenty of food everywhere, but pricy. Restaurants mainly cater for foreigners esp westerner. No restaurant selling average/budget food like fried rice/noodles, chinese/malay rice with dishes. No bar Restaurant only open for breakfast Breakfast from set menu not buffet. so many confirmation, they sent me sms and email and asking to reply for confirmation of arrival....unusefull. The driver recommended by the Hotel doesn't seem to be honest. Keep recommending us to places other than the ones we wanted to visit. Improper location of power points and very few channels on TV. Unfortunately on the first night we suffered bed bug bites all over ourselves and needed to move rooms, from then on the stay was good. Staff were very helpfull. Breakfast could have been better with more variety. Breakfast is poor. facilities. no disposable slipper. i enjoyed my stay. but if you like fancy hotel, don't stay here and if you like night life, you might want to stay in another hotel closer to the bars. A bunch of guys were talking loudly by the pool just outside of my room until very late. My bed sheet had some nasty stains. I asked the staff changed three times, because the other two sheets he put on all had stains. Complimentary wifi was disable before check-out time. WIFI worked pretty well but the phone didn't work in the room (very poor network). No lights in the street at night, lots of bystanders in the corner. Smell in bathroom.
