We stayed here for four nights to shop our feet off ... then went to a villa for 8 nights in Canggu ( but we wished we had stayed here longer ) we loved it !!! so very close to shopping center ( across the road) and a few min stroll to street stalls ..which are crazy .. cheep and wonderful. The pool and swim up bar was amazing, we had three rooms ( for the six in our group ) around the pool ..we felt like royalty ! staff so helpful and always ready to get whatever we wanted ( as we didn't need .
all reviews » The staff members were so pleasant, helpful and courteous. I had an accident on a footpath and our hotel security officers came to assess the situation and then take me to hospital. They waited to see what the outcome was and only went home when my husband told them to. When I returned to the hotel the next day, the leadership team brought a big basket of fruit to me in our room. They asked me to let them know if I needed anything. They were so charming and sincere. I wouldn't want to stay. Beautiful pool and swim up bar and pool-side food service are reasonable prices. For the 'shop-a-holics' the Discovery Mall is just across the road. Remarkably quiet and peaceful pool-side environment in spite of close proximity to main road. Staff very helpful and charming as per almost all service staff in Bali. If you cut thru the Discovery Mall and walk along the beach, it is only 5 minutes walk to the main Kuta Beach. I loved the service and the staff. when we stayed there they were all so friendly. We were there for our wedding in another hotel but they still decorated our room because of our honey moon and then we were there for my birthday too so they printed out a poster for me. Food was great. Location was great, directly across from Discovery mall. Will definitely stay again. My husband & I have travelled to Bali many times staying at various hotels along the way. You feel yourself relaxing from the moment you arrive at the Adhi Jaya. We stayed in the little villa type buildings and absolutely loved it, will definately be staying there on our next trip to Bali. Great hotel. Such lovely staff, always attentive. Modern clean rooms, cleaned everyday. Lovely pool, always sun loungers available. Breakfast is great, they will cook you anything and hve a great selection of pastries etc. we loved it and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Loved the staff. Always helpful. There is a mother cat and baby that live in the hotel and they are nice to let it stay. They dont feed the cats we did thru bits of food after breakfast each day. The pool is really nice not many ppl use it so its peaceful. Staff friendly and helpful at all times. Great breakfast. Good air condition rooms. Does not rip off people for transport to the airport as some hotels do. Well located next to money exchanger,deli and DVD shop. Would recommend it to others. We like the adhi jaya for its location and closeness to everything. Its quiet and yet only a 30 second walk to discovery as well as bars and shopping. 1 minute to water bom park! We have stayed here several times and will defintly go back!. Would strongly recommend this hotel, from signing in to checking out could not pick one fault. For the price you cannot go wrong. Location is just a stone throw away from a Shopping mall, ATM, taxi is easy to get. Breakfast is good. The staff are friendly, helpfull and efficient. One of them even provided us with a towel rack outside our room after she saw a lot of swimsuits on the furniture outside the room. The pool is a few steps away from the room. Location and breakfast are excellent!. Friendly staff, nice pool. Great central location. Handy location. Had to pay a few dollars for a wifi voucher ..in our rooms, which was ignoring. Most times the voucher wouldn't work ( staff great though and they always helped fix the prob ) still it would have been great to have wifi available all the time...( And not have to go to restaurant to use the free wifi). Not a thing. Nothing to complain about. noisy from 7-10pm with loud outside music from the Discovery Mall live performance (often rock music with thumping bass). Forget about sleeping until 10pm, which was particular problem after a long flight . Breakfast buffet was more expensive than other places and didn't have as much. The restaurant is a little on the warm side, doesn't seem to have any air conditioning. Only thing we didn't like as we hadn't been to kuta before we the area, the hotel is right in the middle of restaurants and bars which is great, but way too busy for us and people constantly stopping you. Although once your in the hotel you wouldn't know any of that was going on outside!. Nothing. Everything was excellent at the adhi jaya. No DVD player in room. Rooms should have a clock and a box of tissues. Restaurant good be cooler. absolutely nothing. Breakfast is too poor, same every day, swimming pool is small and all the rooms which around it are not quiet coz of people inside the swimming pool. Not being able to get rooms because the dates we planned to return were fully booked. We planned a 2 night stay at Lombok and back to Bali for another 5 nights stay. So we had no choice but to book another hotel. The lobby area a bit too warm during the day as there is no fan available. A little far to walk to the busier night life but cheap in a taxi (only use bali taxi on meter). Only tourist restaurants really close but we found a great warung if you walk left for 10-15 mins. Could do with a few more poolside lounges. Free wifi in rooms or by pool would be good. Dining room a little hot. the rooms are noisy, you can hear the music from the shopping centre pretty loud until about 11 pm, it didn't really worry me but it might be off putting for others. Had a pool bar but kept no drinks at the bar. Staff collected all pool bar orders from the restaurant bar which took time. No complaints at all. Difficulty to going out fr the hotel room to lobby or restaurant on Raining day. not a thing. guests with small children very noisy, staff cater more for Indonesian people rather than all tourists. There were quite a few mosquito's in the room when I arrived, although they have auto bug sprayers installed. The cats were a bit of a problem. the pillows are too hard but nothing else. Shopping centre opposite had noisy bands playing in the evenings. Staff help to call for cab for high price. none. The toilet in the room is too smelly. Even after we requested for the housekeeping and the technician to come to the room to have a look, the toilet still smelly, but the hotel was kind enough to provide us with an air freshner spray in the toilet. The guest upstairs seems to have a sport day in the room. Sound of people running in the room.(but it is beyond hotel's control) We cant sleep until late at night. Overprice. The room was infested with ants a little expensive. The staff were at times hard to deal with (language barrier). Pillows hard. Shower design poor. Pool bar a bit sad.
