The service was impeccable from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. There were so many personal touches that it is is impossible to mention them all! Location is fantastic for the sea, restaurants, colaba etc. the room was in pristine condition with many complimentaries on arrival. Reception staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There is also a pool and spa facilities which I unfortunately did not gt the chance to try. I would 100% recommend the Trident!.
all reviews » This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The service was excellent, the best service I've had from a hotel in years. The rooms were immaculate, equipped with all comforts. The bed was extremely comfortable and felt like a big hug every time I lay down! Swimming pool area was also very nice and the views from both sides of the hotel are lovely. Would highly recommend a stay here in Mumbai. Excellent staff, great location. When asked for a quiet room, the duty manager acted promptly and we were offered a much better room as well as a complimentary dinner. Excellent local food, great variety, amazing breakfast. One of the best spots in Mumbai center. You can find your peace after the craziness of the city. Fantastic service and in a good location. I was there for work and chose to stay in most evenings and eat in one of the three restaurants. They were of a good standard, however they are pricey (by Indian standards), although still significantly cheaper than the west. Central, excellent security, wonderful service. excellent this hotel is so fabulous its defenitly undergraded shud be 7star iI willtay at this hotel again and refer family and friends my stay at Trident was amazing front desk staff so helpfull and friendly overall all the staff at the hotel were amazing the decor and location of this hotel is tops. We stayed on the 24th floor and had booked an ocean view room ! The view is literally to die for, very centrally located if you plan to be in town side of bombay, but if you plan to visit bandra, juhu on daily basis the commute is a lot ! The staff was extremely polite and helpful. They upgraded us to the 28th floor and also allowed us late check out at 4.00 p.m. They also helped us to pack our shopping in a carton. I really think Wifi should be free of charge in a hotel such as this - or in all hotels for that matter!. We were given one of the rooms right opposite the lifts. Never accept a room like that! There is no proper sound proofing and you will be waken in the middle of the night and at dawn several times. Don't use the hotel car, it's ludicrously expensive. Much easier to get the door staff to get you a cooler cab - you can hire them for Rs300 an hour. Even though we had a confirmed booking for ocean view non smoking- we were informed on check in that they didn't have any rooms available and tried to give us a regular room. eventually we had to settle with a ocean view room on a smoking floor. The price of the hotel taxi to the airport. NOTHING AT ALL... and when i said that i mean it. Nothing. Nothing. Being accompanied into the public toilets in the reception area was, in my view, an unnecessary invasion of privacy. I am perfectly capable of putting liquid soap on my hands after using the facilities. Nothing. lack of wifi in the room - although connection allowed in business/club area. The pool was not clean The diner prices was too high for the given menu. Wi-fi overpriced, even in the lobby. Had to pay for internet connection The bar is not attractive to solo travellers. The restaurants are very expensive for the quality of the food and they serve small portions. The Assam and Darjeeling tea In your Frangipani and Indiana Jones restaurants for breakfast. Nothing. Nothing. They could not arrange two single beds. I was travelling with my colleague. Unfortunately there is no terrase bar. It was full of people and because of the cricket games they put lot of security man in my floor. I was traveling with my 2 daughters then I feel uncomfortable. Nothing. - The airport pickup charges where not defined and they seems to be very high compare to international standards. Internet charges ridiculous... ESP as wifi wouldn't work in my room. Just to use computer for 5 mins would cost 200 rupees. Charge for wifi is high. Bathroom shower and a.c noisy.a .c.cooling less even at 18 degree. there is nothing I dont like! Everything was just perfect1. Breakfast should have been included c. The room rate is already sky-high so all the extra charges rankled a bit. 200 rups just to check in online for the flight home was particularly greedy. Should have been complimentary in a 'luxury' hotel. After coming from breakfast Your body is full of food smell Hope u can improve this. away from malls. My room was on 29th floor. Great view, but very poor cell phone connectivity, to the extent that I had to come down to the lobby to take calls. The hotel offered to change rooms, which is great, but does not solve the problem.
