  The rooms were very comfortable and had private bathrooms! There was a large, comfortable lobby with a view out to the fjord and we enjoyed relaxing there while soft music played in the background.   My husband and I stayed at this charming little hotel for two nights while we were on vacation in June 2013. We loved the location where Lamb Inn is situated. It was easy to get to the city of Akureyri which is filled museums, shops, and restaurants. We would love to come back again.

  The check in process was smooth, a very friendly woman at the front desk. We stayed in a studio apartment with a private hot tub, and it was great. The room is extremely modern, there is a pullman style bed, however we didn't use it. There is a the appliances are all hid behind nice cabinetry. I believe even the floors were heated ( - We enjoyed the apartment and found the staff to be incredibly helpful. The kitchen saved us a lot of money on food, though it should be noted there's no oven here. The hot tub was nice to have but not particularly interesting (no jets or anything like that). We did a northern lights tour with Saga that was particularly good. We also found this location easy to use as a base of operations for our adventures in the North of Iceland.

  We booked a Superior Two-Bedroom Apartment, that was located at Skipagata 2. The apartment was very large (as it included also a large bathroom, kitchen, dining-room and sitting-room) and very well equipped in all rooms: it is really like being at home. The location is very central, next to the main street, with most museums, restaurants and pubs within walkin - The location of this apartment is great. It is right at the center of Akureyri where all the stores, and shopping are. This also makes it a very hard place to park. The host is very friendly, make sure you has his number because you are going to need to call him to get you inside the apartment for the check in process. The kitchen works fine, the washer and dryer worked for us. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
