The hotel is placed central in the Kowloon area and close to shopping area. The hotel is also close to the metro station which is easy to access. The room i got was clean and good, not so big, but a nice room. I've stayed at the Stanford in the past, but especially liked it this time as we got a room that was just recently renovated, staff very friendly and always courteous and willing to help.

My first night was in a room that stank of smoke but because the hotel was full no possibility of moving. Spraying deodorant did not help. The next day I was moved to a smoke-free room which was excellent and what I had expected from this hotel. A great place to stay and good location, not far from the MTR. Very clean, nice shower. heating was ok but needed extra blankets - breakfast and other stuff expensive. none. Nothing, really but it would be nice if the hotel provided basic toiletries which included disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, and bathroom/bedroom slippers. The room rate could have included breakfast, not necessarily the expensive HK$60 buffet but perhaps a choice of set breakfasts, which outside eateries are charging between HK$14 - HK$20. We had a party of 12 - all family.the room is a bit small for my family but whocares,i'm out shopping all the time. a little bit expensive for a twin room, but it was worth since we were just staying for 2 days in HK.I felt the room was too small. did not like other patrons smoking in the bar as I had to eat there as restaurant was full.The did not have any big beds(or available King size bed) and they put me in a room with two small beds. Good free internet connection. Forgotten about the Hotel complimentary shuttle bus services, the staff should have told us on checking-in for better travelling experiences.If anything the restaurant menu could be improved and broadened. only 2 lifts for a lot of floors, but that's as bad as it gets :). The jack hammer construction outside my room window at 10am to 5pm forthree days without warning. maybe you could put in your promo package a complimentary breakfast. Although, the rooms was small, I thought it was okay since we did not have many luggages. The bath tub was starting to flood. But at least the water went down the drain. the room is quite small.Small rooms, but for this price it is acceptable,. Tiny room, hair dryer wasn't working, no safe in the room, safe at reception was too small for laptop.Doorman seemed distracted most the time and rather than open the door for me they seemed to just get in the way. they use a gel instead of soap.Can be cleanier. i specifically asked for a double bed i got 2 singles. The rooms are incredibly small. Very comfortable, but so small. It's hardly possible to squeeze an extra bed in a normal room. Price of an extra bed is very high also, so we all shared the king size bed (which is indeed quite big).
