  We stayed in the economy studio, and upon our arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of local wine. The location of the hotel was really ideal - It was just far enough outside of the city that we could walk to the beach in less than five minutes, and walk into the city in 20-30 minutes. The staff was also one of the most accommodating we have ever... what people say » had. She was extremely helpful in suggesting places for day trips and how to get to and from anywhere we went. She always offered to make any travel - Beautiful hotel, very clean and well looked after. Lovely private swimming pool that was kept spotless and never full. Plenty of sunbeds and poolside chairs. Breaskfast for 6euro (3 for kids) with plenty of options available Snacks available at lunchtime - limited but good value. Close proximity to beach - 2 minutes walk and a further beach at 5 minutes with more facilities. Bus stop for Chania at the end of the road - cost 1euro 10 and run regularly.   The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and the pool areas, bar and restaurant are adjacent to the sea with great views of the area. It is well located to supermarkets and other restaurants and is either a short car or bus ride to the main centre of Chania. The staff could not have been more helpful and even advised of traditional local restaurants and checked to see - The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

  The people there were really nice and friendly. Whatever you need, just ask! It was simple, but clean (especially the pool), away from mass tourism. We had a pretty big apartment on the first floor with two balconies, one on either side, which was really nice! The beach nearby is stony, but there is a sand beach not very far away. You definitely n... what people say » eed a car to get to the famous beaches such as Balos or Falassarna or to the town to do the shopping. - Excellent out of town location, so relatively quiet. Would recommend having a rental car to get around to the best beaches etc. We stayed with our son, his wife and baby in the next apartment and it worked well. Lovely pool, and Maria's breakfasts were a daily delight. Staff all very helpful. Plenty of tavernas within walking distance or short drive into Kissamos. About 20 minutes drive to Chania.
