It is situated in the city center and the main landmarks- the port, the Archeological museum and the bus stop are easily accessible alike with the main shopping streets. If the purpose of your trip is tourism, I would strongly recommend Irini. Overall, excellent value for money. - Convenient location to city sights, port and airport. Parking and breakfast option (good value) are also pluses even though I did not use them for this stay. The price, while on the high side, is ok, considering that accommodation in Heraklion is expensive compared to other places in Crete.

They were very friendly and provided helpful info on how to best spend our siteseeing time on Crete and in Heraklion. - Got an upgrade to a great room on the 5th floor...very comfortable, quiet, well designed, huge bathroom...
