We spent four nights at Evgenia Studios and it was one of the loveliest accommodations we stayed at throughout our trip. We arrived around midnight and Mr Stelios was so kind as to wait up for us. We were given a room that was just as requested, with a view of the harbour from one of the windows. The location couldn't have been better; staying in the old town is a must! And if you have any difficulties locating the studios, many of the friendly Greeks in the area would point you in the right di.
all reviews » The place is very close to the harbour - located in one of the nicest old streets of Chania. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere as well as the sea view. The terasse on the roof has a great view over the harbour and the see on the one side, and the mountains on the other. The interior is rather old and not luxury, but I personally prefer that. The bed had been just perfect for me. Furthermore, the owner of the place has been very kind and even waited until I checked in in the later evening. The hotel is in center very close to the Venetian harbor. The room was spacious,romantic style,jacuzzi was really relaxing!We also enjoyed the roof garden.We would like to thank Mr Stelios for his hospitality,he was helpful and very kind . Chania is such a fantastic place,the beach of Elafonisi is unique! People of Creta are hospital and gentle.We really had a great time. I can say it was the best vacation i have ever had!. The owners were incredibly warm and helpful in offering recommendations on local restaurants and how to beat the tourist traps. The location was absolutely perfect, very central and on a charming side street. The best restaurants in town are right next door and the sea is only 2 min away. The room was romantic and cozy. Thee location is very peaceful at night and stones throw away from the cafe culture and harbor front. Good roof top terrace with excellent views. The location was excellent, in the centre of the old town and the room was in a lovely old Venetian building. We were given oranges to squeeze and other breakfast things which I hadn't expected. The houst was realy nice and halpful. The room was clean and well equiped. It is not big but in the right size, have everything you need. It's near everything but still quite and romantic. View of surroundings, spacious room, friendly helpful management, fabulous shared terrace, room cleanliness, location, lots to do in the local area, restaurants, interesting shops. Friendly helpful owner. Excellent location close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Quiet little street despite being so central. Good location, WiFi in the room, jacuzzi clean and functional, comfortable. Excellent quality-cost ratio. Friendly atmosphere Hotel is located in the old city. Nice location (difficult to find but really central once you manage to reach there). My only concern: I would prefer having a shower curtain instead of making a mess in the bathroom. Everything was perfect,too bad we couldn't stay some more days!. Not recommended for mobility-impaired or families with small children as the alleyways could be tough to navigate, and the room was at the top of 3 flights of stairs. The bathroom was very small and got soaked whenever the shower was used, but you get used to it. A little tricky to find car parking nearby as close to the old harbor. It was a little cramped, especially in the 'kitchen' area. there are many stairs, no balcony and maybe its about time to get a new matres. Maybe it was only in our room, but there was some noise (probably from the water hitter) that woke us up few times. Particularly hard to find since the area the hotel is located is not well mapped by google maps. A minimal would have helped a lot. Hotel is near the sea but it is harbour. So it's rather long way to beach. Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood but hotel itself (being a very old building) creates much noise - reconsider the choice if you are sensitive about noise.
