The service was really good.
We consider the hotels' roof garden with it's great view relaxing atmosphere a great place for food and cocktails.
It's close to the center of Athens and we had easy access to the metro(Omonia Station).
We highly recommend the Bistro next to the lobby for coffee and evening drink.

If you visit Athens and you are looking for a pleasant stay,go to Polis Grand Hotel!!! - from the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The service was great and very caring. The food throughout was wonderful and fresh - at all the establishments in the Polis Grand. They offerred the freshest and best buffet breakfast we have experienced so far in our European travels. Upon booking, I had requested a non-smoking room on a higher floor. When we checked in, we were given a room on a second floor that was a smoking room where everything was scented with nicotine. However the hotel were happy to accommodate us with this change when we checked in. The doors are double to the balcony which is good for the busy street.
