Hotel was comfortable, clean and the family room was very big and well laid out with plenty of space. It's about 10 mins walk to the centre of St Goar along the Rhine.   We stayed at this hotel 8 members. It was first time for my friends to stay this hotel and all of them were very happy to stay here. It was quite wonderful experience to stay old castle hotel like this. - A romantic place to stay with a great view of the Rhine Valley and the old castle to explore.

  What a place Jocham and his family and staff were warm friendly and could not be more helpful. What a great spot to explore the scenery of the Rhine Valley. Then when you are hungry after a day exlporing eat in the bar along with the locals great food and good atmosphere and Jocham is always on hand with information and a wonderful sence of humour... what people say » . Will go back - Very nice hotel with friendly obliging English speaking staff. Good food and party atmosphere. Hotel can provide tickets for Rhine boat trip and take you to departure point and collect you on return in the 'Winzerhaus Shuttle' minibus. Short walk to Loreley viewpoint overlooking Rhine Gorge.
