  The rooms were very big and clean! The view from the balcony with flowers, was great: the clear lake below (in which we swum several times) and the mountains behind it! The hotel was between the green hills, we made nice walks: saw cows, sheep, horses, lovely farms. different kind of birds of prey, dears and even a ermine! We discovered a graveyar... what people say » d out of the 14. century for victims of the plague. The food in the hotel was so lovely, that we used seven meals, every evening! The breakfast was f - The staff was very friendly. We had reserved two one-bed rooms, and were upgraded to lovely spacious rooms with incredible views of the castles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone. I would love to come back to see the new facilities as well, although I hope it is as quaint as this older building is!

  Nice hotel with a good restaurant. The smallest rooms where however very small, but it got all you need. However for 5 EUR more a night you get a much bigger room.

  Lovely, very quiet hotel with the nicest European hotel rooms we've seen yet! No children were there when we were which made it even more quiet and romantic. The location is perfect for walking Bamberg. The underground parking was very nice since there's little street parking. It was very easy to walk to the sights and the Christmas Market. A plus that we could park in the garage underneath the hotel! The room we were in had a separate living room with king size bed and bathroom up a winding stair. Very romantic and a huge space. Skylight windows that open were a nice touch We ate dinner at the Restaurant and it was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel
