Placement is great in the middle of old city and a good xmas market just outside your door. Good restaurant. large comfortable room and very clean. Very quiet at night. Wifi good. Service very good and efficient. had forgot my razor and asked if they had one - got a package with a razor and cream for free - not the best quality but did the job. I wanted to have my room one night longer. Asked reception after breakfast and got a good room rate the extra night for my double room. In total a gre.
all reviews » The hotel and surrounding area was quiet, and it was close to the town centre. Was a lovely period hotel with rooms full of old world character and individuality. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and their English was fantastic. 24Hr parking was cheap @ 10 euro'S. If you don't want a "run of the mill, every room the same hotel", and would like somewhere with a bit more "Romance" then stay here. We will use whenever we are in this area. We loved the hotel I lived in Osnabruck years ago and always wanted to stay there so when we decided to revisit was first choice of hotel to stay in. The hotel is lovely, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was naturally continental, with a good choice, in a wonderful old breakfast room/Restaurant. Room was in the old part of the hotel and was quaint and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.. This is a fabulous hotel to stay in - right in the heart of Osnabruck - the rooms are lovely and the staff so helpful and professional. A really big bonus is the restaurant - the food is first class matched by the service from the staff. I love everything about this hotel and will be going back. Location-staff were very friendly and helpful in every way. The history and the romantic atmosphere. You will hear the vacuuming in the morning, but they don't start that early so it is ok. You need to get a code for Wifi that needs Your signature and only in the lobby - ask on arrival. But the receptionist came to my room with it 0400 in the morning - good service. My double bed was 2 large singles together acceptable. No elevator for second floor in the part of building I was - I don't need one so no problem. Our only minor disappointments were, room was a bit dark but did not spoil our stay, and I wish the bed had one big mattress rather than 2 singles. I needed the window open at night which as we were on the front of the hotel, was a bit noisy with people going by late into the night. Probably not a problem with window shut so a tip would be to choose a side or back facing room. The hidden charges, I thought I had booked without breakfast and in the morning had a surprise extra 50 Euros added to my bill for breakfast and parking. 25 euros for a truly disappointing breakfast was a real shame that marred staying here. Nothing. A bit noisy from people congregating in the alley in front of the entrance. Internet access not seamless, wifi signal strength not consistent throughout the hotel. The housekeeper girl just knocked n unlocked the door instead of giving us a minute to reply. The mattress were very hard. The door to the hotel room was outside main hotel lobby in a dining area, so you had to walk past diners to get to the room. This was quite awkward and somewhat noisy at night. rooms are too warm and pillows are not supportive enought. I got a neckache.
