It is located on the 1st and 2nd floors of an apartment building. A large, all you can eat breakfast buffet can be ordered in the Hotel Tessin's colourful breakfast room each morning. Many restaurants, pubs and supermarkets can be reached on foot. The large Hirschgarten park and beer garden is a 10-minute walk away. Laim S-Bahn Train Station is just a 3-minute walk from the Hotel Tessin. From here, Munich's main train station can be reached directly in 8 minutes, and the Marienplatz square in 10 minutes.

Very convenient location and very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again :). It is very near S Bahn, very quiet during the night, nice room, very good price.The staff and location near the city center. Good Breakfast, close to S-Bahn. Bathroom was very cold and furniture in the room was old but it was not so important for us. A petrol station is located only 5 meters from the hotel. There is a big road just near the hotel, so it's noicy and the air is not fresh. A shower is done in a bit strange way, so a lot of water goes on the flor and it is hard to avoid it. A man came in the room for cleaning at 8:00 (!) when I was sleeping inside and anyway we were leaving that dayю Normally the room is cleaned after you leave.Because it's not in the city centre you need to catch the S Bahn (4 stops from citu centre). downstairs entrance should be nicely decorated. the hotel was ok for the price i paid for it. if it were more expensive.. i would have expected to have newer furniture. not very holidayish.... but functional.Disarray in reception. Bathroom - the taps are covered by white plastic and with the time the metal is apparead. it's need a renovation...takes a little time to get to the Downtown by metro, or tram,but if you got by car itsnot a problem at all. Small rooms,just for sleeping,average comfort,it may be worst :) price is say for quality. the room that had been given to me had unfinished maintenance work. two holes were left viewable in the bathroom, allowing pest and insects to move freely around .it would be nice to have a toilet glass that fits on the Glass holder situated in the Bathroom .The receptionist on the morning of 9/01/09 had charged me for nights . However, that had been quickly resolved .Contents of the bathroom were very old. The laounge of tea were very small. it was located inside the housу so it was necessary to call reception to open the door each time. We could have lived in a better hotel for this price (not high), like hotel Willis near the center of Munchen.the hotel reception close at 23h and no other option to get in...
