The closeness to the subway stop was amazing, this was the key for us as we prefer to stay just out side of the city centre to save money but being so near to transit it was easy to get anywhere in the city. The lobby bar was nice, I used the free wifi nightly. The beds here are amazing as well as the pillows and comforter, I was very impressed. The staff were very helpful, I had to leave one night early and they refunded the cost of that night to my cc, I truly appreciated that.
all reviews » Right beside U-Bahn station then four stops or so into the centre - no hassle at all. Hotel is typical minimalist Ibis, clean and functional. This is great value for Munich which can be expensive to find decent accomodation in. Apart from wi-fi access not much to complain about at this price, and I would happily stay again. Excellent. Almost nothing to criticize. Location is great, just next to the U-bahn station. Staff are very nice and helpful. Room is large enough, very clean and beautiful. Everything looks new, well-organized and in good order. Very quiet at night so we slept quite well. Definitely worth recommending!!. The rooms, while small and sparsely decorated, were very comfortable and the space well thought out. The staff were always helpful and friendly, and even had done hand printed maps to help us get around Oktoberfest and related events. The rooms are good and clean. Also, the Hotel is in front of the Subway Station. So, you can go quite easily to the City Center. If you need to eat something, there's a Convenience Store quite close to the Hotel, in the Gas Station. Nice room, good size and very clean. Proximity to underground station. I like from hotel just the beer. Would have been nice to have free wifi in the room. The bathroom was interesting, but tolerable, kinda felt like a trailer bathroom. The usual hotel internet issues - the free wi-fi was not working in the bar during our stay and charges are excessive in room. Only problem is that there is no free Wifi in the room (if i remember correctly). But there is free Wifi in the lobby and even two computers free to use. No internet in room. The prices were very high due to us being there for Oktoberfest. As such we don't think it was great value for money but maybe at regular prices it would be ok. Poor breakfest buffet. Internet not work in room. Nothing to report. The hotel only provide wifi in hall. Toilet without lock. High price for an Ibis which is usually a lower cost option!. The Ibis Hotel Muenchen City West staffs are not really customer friendly orienated. Expensive parking, small room, cool staff, bad wifi, lack of atmosphere. No wifi in rooms Not much in the area. No balcony, no wi-fi free. Internet not work in room. no wifi at room. reception staff let this hotel down big style, the exception was the evening staff. staff during the day need trained in manners amongst other things. I dont like the stuff almost nobody cant talk english and the day I leave hotel it was a girl who were working in respsion she was soo unfriendly and she was soo angry and I pay extra 80 € but nobody were telling at me it was a smoking room so that was really very bad I pay extra 80€. It was only one person who work in the night times a girl she was so friendly and the rest really very bad worker there. There were no non-smoking rooms available.
