  From my experience, this was one of the best places I have stayed. The room and the guest house are excellent and the hostess is extremely friendly and helpful (and her english is perfect!!!).   This small hotel is beautifuly located on the edge of Grainau village with stunning views of the mountans. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed a small balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was excellent although we were surprised to find several dogs in the breakfast room. They were well behaved though and we soon got used to them.
