  I liked the location and the fact that there was evening dining at thehotel. The walk to town was short, yet beautiful. The kids enjoyedgreen space and amenities outside the hotel. The rooms were spacious(our kids like this place the best of the three hotels we stayed at onthis trip). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, itwas a g... what people say » reat value. - Old style family friendly hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist part of the town yet only 20 minutes walk to the station. It's in an area with lots of interesting walks. Great views from the balcony of our room. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast were good. All staff cooperative and helpful.

  New owner, Peter, very friendly and informed. Room was beautifully remodeled with fabulous view of Lake Hopfensee and mountains in background. Took dry sauna in lower level and other amenities are being developed for spa like experience there as well. Close location to castles and many good restaurants along Lake Hopfensee where could walk in ... what people say » evening. Could also drive to another Ludwig castle, Linderhof, about an hour away. Breakfast at hotel was very, very good and lovely setting. Highly recommended.

  It was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was perfect for what I needed and walking distance from the village. I’d stay there again. - It was a BandB setting in a quaint village of similar establishments, just a reasnable walk from Fussen.
