The staff were helpful. The room No 608 was bright, clean and welcoming. The hostel was convenient to city centre. For value for money it was very good. It was my second visit and I will come again - soon hopefully. Me and a friend stayed in two single en-suite rooms each. We were very impressed with the facilities in the rooms. The staff were friendly and service excellent, and there was free Wifi in the lobby.
all reviews » Booked a single-got a double which was extremely spacious. Very clean. 24 hr bar, with darts and pool and very fair prices on the beer etc. Absolute bargain for the price. I was only here for a night and really only needed it to be a place to sleep, rest and wash. It was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable so it served this purpose well. The room is quite spacious and clean! There are extra loos in the lobby. About 10/15 mins walk to central station/riverside. Location. Friendly staff. Services and facilities were wonderful. Cannot fault a thing! The breakfast was AMAZING!. The location is quite central with easy access to he transport system. WI-fi in rooms was fast and free. Hotel exceptionally clean,. Centre of DÃ¼sseldorf. Good breakfast for 6 â‚¬ per man. close to trainstation, large dormitory rooms. A fair old walk to the old town, which I didn't mind but some people may not. Tram stop is less than a minute away though. The staff weren't that polite and were pretty disinterested in their work but this is pretty standard for Europeans. The hostel was almost empt and there were no opportunities to meet other travellers, however it was during the week in off season. The price doesn't include bedsheet... I can't find tap water.... A first aid kit should be kept on site possibly. My daughter hurt herself and they did not have any bandaids or antiseptic spray, however the girl at reception was EXTREMELY helpful with finding a chemist still open for our daughter. Thank you!. the fact that our room 312 had a bunk bed also one thing which really bothered me was the fact that there was no TV in the room. Room was cold on arrival and during the night also.- Room needs heavy curtains to reduce the wind chill from windows.Do you ever have fresh milk at breakfast - longlife milk does not suit irish palet. Nothing serious...I'll stay there again. Nothing. The bed making creaky noise while twisting and turning while in sleep. nothing. - Samll Elevator - No blind curtains to stop streetlight coming in the room during night time. Bathroom is a bit shabby. no more. internet sucks. There was no sheet!. They should try n control da noise by da kids. noise from street when windows open (summer time). This hotel is still not very convenient for families with small children. One can spend the night, but to live there for a week I would not. At the entrance and the lobby is always a crowd of smokers and generally a lot of noisy companies. Only two elevators, which have to wait long, because they are very small and narrow. Our stroller is not too much to go into these lifts with difficulty. the beds are not very comfortable for a bit big peoples... Extra fee for clean sheets, if you don't have your own. Extra fee for using credit card. Only 2 sockets for 6 people in a room. Letting people check in at 4 am in a dormitory doesn't provide a very nice sleep for those already there.

Travelling information

The hotel/hostel is just 900 metres from Düsseldorf’s Hauptbahnhof (main railway station).

On foot you should turn left from Konrad-Adenauer Platz into Graf-Adolf-Straße. Cross the roundabout and then turn left into Karl-Rudolf-Straße which then leads into Corneliusstraße. A&O City Hauptbahnhof is then on your right-hand side.

Alternatively, from the railway station (bus platform 10) you can take bus 725 towards Plange Mühle. After approx. 5 minutes, get off at the Cornelisusstraße stop.

If arriving in Düsseldorf by bus at the central bus station (ZOB), exit to your left and take the Worringer Straße towards Hauptbahnhof, and proceed as above.
