The room was huge, clean and comfortable. The receptionist spoke english and she was pleasant and professional. Breakfast was awesome. Real orange juice, not that powder stuff. Eggs, bacon, assorted breads, pastries, fresh fruit. The bus staion a short 3 minute walk from hotel and buses come quite often. We would stay here again. Although the hotel was located quite far away from the city center thetrams were running frequently. Additionally, excellent breakfast :). all reviews »

Quite far from the center, even if there is a very good tram service (30 min). Too far from the center, but there is a tram. It takes 30 min. to reach city center but no need to change. Clean and wellpresented room. Only let down by the kitchen in our apartment only having a fridge but no other electrical items like a cooker/fridge/utensils. However for the price it is very good. 29mins by tram to the centre Theatres etc..In 3 star hotel I would expect at least sauna (if not jacuzzi or pool). Far from center. I asked for non smoking room and I didn't get it. Insufficent heating, otherwise perfect.

BAB 4 from Chemnitz-exit Dresden Altstadt(old town):

Straight ahead to the city center/Pillnitz
Pass the Semperoper.
Go along the terrace banks along the landing stage for the ships
At Hotel Terrassenufer turn right at the traffic lights.
At the next traffic light turn left in the Pillnitzer Street. Go straight on this street approx. 5-6km (changing street names), at the Fetscherplatz tram rails begin. 80m after the tram rails end (Kronstädter Platz) turn right in the street of the hotel.
BAB 4 from Berlin-exit Dresden-Hellerau:
(1/2 hour to the hotel)
Direction city center. Pass train station Neustadt, go straight ahead, at the traffic lights turn left. At the 2nd traffic lights turn right over the Carola bridge. After passing the bridge turn left into the Pillnitzer Street. Straight ahead - like in description 1.
