The hiking around the area are superb. World class. If you hike, this is it! It is in the Mosul River Valley and there is not a bad view from anywhere. The owners are very nice. we had a wonderful stay. we requested a room with a view of the castle and - or the mosel river and they gave us both....it was truly beautiful and i would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to be in cochem. - The staff were extremely friendly spoke good English and did all they could to make our stay a good one.
