  This is a budget hotel given its price (good hotels in Berlin tend to be much more expensive) but it goes an extra mile to be something more than that. The exterior and interior design is very tasteful and cool. There is a rooftop terrace which can be used by hotel guests and a guest kitchen on the ground floor which is a fully functional kitchen ... what people say » with all kitchen equipment (something that is a taboo in hotels and is more of a hostel feature). Whilst at the airport I decided to book a room at Meininger Hotel for easy access back to the airport very early next morning.
