Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good, situation of hotel was excellent - in a quiet road but very close to Ku'damm. I was visiting Berlin with a friend and so wanted to have a twin-bedded room (not a double bed) and this was the only hotel where a twin bedded room was specified on the room list. There are four restaurants very close to the hotel which are convenient for eating in the evening.

The hotel in located in a good district of Berlin and a 20 minute walk from Zoo Garten train station. The dining area for breakfast was most pleasant and also clean. On arrival there was construction work going on at the back of the building. no conditioner,the curtain did not screen out sun light. The breakfast was poor and no minibar neither telephone in the room. The shared toilet facilities were not very clean. The people in the room next to me were extremely loud of a night. My room smelt of cigarettes (and hence my clothes did) despite my asking for a non-smoking room. Pillows are too soft and no additional pillows provided.No hairdryer in the room, hotel could offer something warm for breakfast ( english breakfast, for example). The inner courtyard can act as an accoustic chamber and amplify any sound. When the weather is warm and you need to keep the windows open, loud voices sound louder and makes it hard to sleep. Therefore, I think that all rooms need air-conditioners. A small refridgerator would be good to have in the room. The breakfast but needs more variety.Lift should be better. It was a little bit old fashion. room 11 too close to toilet, small and noisy due to the thin wall. Small shower cabin.Very gloomy entrance way, especially when arriving after dark, and a rickety old lift on arrival. After that I always used the stairs!. The old wooden stairs and floors were a bit noisy and i could hear all the voices through the door of my room. Eggs could be served in the breakfast.old building, antique lift, not all the staff spoke english very well.

Our hotel is located in a quiet and central area of the city and all sights - cultural, shopping and financial districts - can be easily reached. We have no hotel parking place but you will receive a free parking permit for the nearby street.

Important information to guests

Guests arriving later than 21:00 must contact the hotel in advance. Guests booking at the last minute without credit card details must check in by 22:00 or notify the hotel in advance about their exact arrival time. There are no parking spaces at Hotel Pension Kima. Guests receive a free parking permit for the car park across the road. Please contact the hotel in advance for more information. All contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. Please note that all drivers must display an Umweltplakette (fuel-emission sticker) in order to enter central Berlin. Please note that dogs are not permitted at this hotel.

Travelling information

From Tegel Airport: Take bus 109 directly to Olivaer Platz station. From here it is a 1-minute walk to Wielandstraße. Turn right and you will see Hotel-Pension Kima. From Schönefeld Airport: Take either the express train or the S-Bahn (city rail) S9 line as far as Zoologischer Garten. From there take bus 109, 110 or X10 to Olivaer Platz station, and proceed as above. By car: - Leave the A100 motorway at the Kurfürstendamm exit. - From Kurfürstendamm continue straight on until you reach Wielandstraße, where you need to turn right. - The hotel is on the left-hand side.
