Went out for Anniversary meal at local restaurant after spending afternoon sightseeing in suburbs. Restaurant was reccommended by hotel staff and was excellent both for quality of food, service AND ambiance. Following day was spent at Gatow Luffwaffe Museum. Access to public services, S Bahn, U Bahn and buses could not be more convenient. Very well located, both in terms of publica transportation and in termsof proximity to the International Convention Center (15 minutes walkingor less than five minutes by bus). We were leaving very early and theyprepare breakfast boxes for us.

Breakfast was excellent, room was clean and modern and staff were freindly and helpful. They actually opened up for breakfast an hour early for me on marathon day, which was perfect.Very close to S + U bahn which was important to us. The room was tastefully designed and in good condition. Beds were nice. To our needs it was perfect. It's newly refurbished and looks very worthwhile. Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. receptionist's poor english, airconditioning is missing. Noisy cleaning of the hotel at 7.30 on Sunday morning !!!. in red light district, no bar. It seems like a good location hotel for a public transportation and a private car. The staff were really rude, i let them know in advance that i would be late checking in and left my contact mobile number should there be problems. My booking was canceled and i had to stay in a tiny box of a room when i arrived.The room was so stinky, it was terrible, remote control of TV didnt work propertly, stuff at reseption is not helpfun, most of them berlly speaks English.. i asked a question, no one even answre me :( Definetly will never stay there again and don't recomend as well... horrible.
