Outside the center, but good location. It is in front of a train station, the subway station and shopping mall are 50 meters far from it. Several restaurants nearby. Good neighborhood. Excellent team, always with good humor and sympathy. Excellent facilities, all very clean. Hotel location, service and breakfast is very good. Value and convience. Overall the hotel was nice. It was very close to Charlottenburg station.There is a nice street of stores nearby. The non-convention (I wentthere for ifa convention and the regular room rate was doubled), pricesare reasonable. Although the stairway and hallways are somewhat dark,the rooms are clean and bathroom is clean. No air conditioning, butduring my stay, I just kept the window open. Cleanness of room and hotel was excellent and we overlooked a quietenclosed courtyard - so no noise. Also the breakfast was very good. Thelocation was perfect - on the u Bahn from the airport and the s Bahn forthe Olympic Stadium - only three stops away. Ideal ! ps - there is nocategory below : I was there with my son for Germany v England footballso we had a room with 2 single beds.Very close to S-bahn and U-bahn stations for quick and easy access to all parts of the city at all times of the day and night . Air conditioning in the room would have helped enormously , but we understand that this would have increased the cost of the room , so no complaints . It would be great if all the rooms had wifi connection.The Hotel has a gun/rifle shop on one side and a strip club on the other so maybe not such a great position for young families. no fridge in the room...Not really catered for families with very young children. Hotel did not have electric kettle in hotel room. Our Rooms do not have darkness curtains. It's important and no expensive to improve.Noise at end of stair corridor in mornings. Breakfast not interesting, old food and too seats in the breakfast rushhour. The wireless internet was very hard to get. I never got it, even after the support of the hotel clerk.we orderred a double bed and we got 2 bed witch was attach together. most of the hotel staff don't speek english, so it was hard to comunicate even in the most basic way. The hotel was rather bare in terms of room, toilet and general facilities. quality of the breakfast was very much below "normal".The heating system was turned off, and we need to ask the staff to turnit on, but they did it only after several asking... the rooms for single travelers are located near the entry door at every floor. everyone who goes in and out passes near your room and there is too much noise! the curtains on the windows do not block the sun light and in the morning it wakes you up together with all the people that pass near the door in the corridor.very small room. The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in, this is not a home away fromhome. The wooden (?) ceiling caused all the noise from upstairs to beheard clearly, even a footstep upstairs would wake me up at night. Noteven a kettle in the room.no internet connection at all, opposite to what is stated in the web site. Staff - a suspicious Russian characters, they lost my reservation.Horrible treatments of us. Only one person spoken English. The picturesof the hotel doesnt reflect the truth. Room was smelly (cigarettes) Theysaid there is wifi free - strange, you have to give them your comp. Ipnumber - we did, nothing happen - there was no wifi access.Bad area.
