Quality vs. price, the room was big and comfortable. The view was perfect.I liked the hotel and the room. It is slightly out of the center, but with a very good public transport just out of the hotel - bus 245, 101 and 106 going to the center. There are lots of restaurants around and breakfast places within a reach of a short walk. Rooms were very clean and spotless. We had wonderful view to the Grosser Stern!. design of the hotel and excellent food both breakfast and dinner. Rooms, prices. Modern design.Good location only in 15minutes from Tegel airport by car,and 10 minutes from U-Bahn station by walking.Staff were very friendly. was near the downtown. bus stasion near the hotel. the bathroom was perfect!i love glass, and of course the river view...good breakfast quality and general speedy service. modern, clean, quite neighbourhood. A bit far from city center not right as it was writen that "just a few minutes".I did not like the bed - it was way too soft for me. Also, on Saturday night there was wedding in the restaurant, and although we stayed on the 3rd floor we could hear the music till 1 a.m. The staff reacted very kindly to our complains. I would have like a bath as well as a shower. In winter too cold in rooms. The bathroom is not very private given that I was travelling with a friend. the price of our dinner was excessive! and the bed was too soft, i couldn't sleep well!. air conditioner out of order. noise from the street bidet was broken. it was quite far srom the s-ban station.about 20 min at least walking.Our room was rather a single and not a double room. Too much lack of space for 2.. Very noisy on saturday night, party and extremly loud music at hotelmeeting room until 3 in the morning.. No free wifi internet in hotelrooms, cable internet charge and vod outrageously expensive.paying extra for gym, BBC TV channel not working. light sewage smell in the bathroom, no info on the website about the applicable extra cost for sauna/spa. Our sheets were not changed in three days! The receptionist on the day we left apologised and gave us a complementary drink but the staff the day before did nothing. business hotel, not very comfortable for weekend stay, far from U-Bahn. Room did not correspond to description and nothing of my demands wasrespected: I asked for a big bed, with bath, superior room. Nothing ofthis. There was no heather in the room and the one in the bathroom wasnot warming enough. The TV-screen was of bad quality. At the entrance ofthe restaurant there were people smoking, so not nice while eating. Nobreakfast before 7 am during the weekend. Air conditioning did not work and room faced onto a noisy street with heavy traffic.When requesting a change of room I was intiially asked to pay for an upgrade !.
