Booked 3 days, stayed 4. Clean, comfortable. Check-in and out was very quick and simple. Staff was very responsive. Restaurant was very good, and apparently very popular; it was full during lunch hour (1-2 pm) everyday. location to bathing facilities both old and new withjn 2 minutes walk lot of shops and restaurants on Gernsbacher Strasse breakfast is great all you can east by ordering (not buffet) like rich and famous meals.

Hotel is clearly awaiting renovation. Bathroom was outdated and harshly lit. Would have liked an information card in the room with wifi instructions, etc. Breakfast was so so. No reception staff when cafe closed. Only one room key available (could be left in a secure box, but accessible by all guests). Customer service was poor and non-existent after the cafe closed (6:00pm). WiFi was slow and dropped out regularly. There was no air-conditioning, but if the windows were opened, excessive street noise was a problem. Poor quality breakfast. Never anyone on reception. Rooms are small. Shower/tub drainage poor. When brushing teeth the sink water bubbled up in shower drain. No fan, no air conditioning Windows when open were just inches off noisy street No surface provided guests for toiletries in BR.
