Small & very compact room & en suite, perfect for a short break. Hotel staff very friendly & helpful, very clean hotel. Location is perfect to use as a base as just a few streets walk and you are in the main areas of Tours - loads of bars & restaurants/bistros to choose from. Excellent shopping city & very pretty. We live in France & will certainly be going back. Stayed with our 2 daughters and had a double and twin twib room joined together. Private and decent size of each room. Same price as a family room. Full bathrooms. Described as basic but very comfortable.
all reviews » Great location in the middle of Tours, but with parking right next door. Loads of restaurants nearby. 2 separate adjoining rooms with 2 bathrooms rather than a family room. Good WiFi, very helpful staff. A clean, simple, perfectly-located hotel that does what it says on the tin. It's not 5*, nor does it profess to be. But it's well-kept, friendly and convenient. I'd happily stay here again. The location was excellent in close proximity to all the interesting sites in the old town. The owner was very helpful and provided us with information about the town. The location within walking distance to the train was great! Size of the room was workable. Staff answered all questions. View from 4th floor is very nice!. Well situated easy to find. Pleasant on the reception easy parking at onyl reception 8€ per night in the hotel garage. very convenient, 5 min walk to the train sation, and shops, restaurants around. very clean, good breakfast>. There's a gap in the door between bedroom and bathroom which might cause those guests less familiar with each other to blush slightly. The hotel was excellent value so we were satisfied with a smallish room. Bathroom shower not screened enough to prevent water from going all over. Rooms a bit small. not very cheap. The room is small, specially if you have lots of luggage. although it is a non smoking hotel (which we specifically look for), the rooms smelt of smoke. Tables for two rather small. can be noisy,from guests in other rooms and if in a room on the street side from traffic and bars. a room we stayed in was just above the breakfast area and the noise was very disturbing from 0700hrs. A bit noisy - badly insolated. Just be aware that it is a B&B and to check the day before what time you can check in. fruit salad in a jar. no croissants. the bathroom and bed a bit small for someone over 6 ft. tall!. You could hear other residence easily. Some difficulty speaking English with staff. Breakfast a bit spare. there was nothing I did not like. Small room with hardly any place to hang up or store clothes. Rooms are small and very minimalistic. Bed is just to small and short for two people to sleep. no kettle to make hot drink. Tiny room and bathroom. Difficult to reach in car due to current diversions in tours. The breakfast was a rip off at 8 euros, consisting of small and stale pieces of bread and croissants. The cheeses were also unimpressive, consisting of processed cheese slices and laughing cow wedges. Rooms a little tired. Very small room even for France.
