because the hotel was 2 star we were expecting a bit of a dump, but the hotel was so quaint and comfortable and the room was spacious and cosy. The staff were friendly and one woman in particular spoke excellent english. Its a very homely and well maintained hotel. The location was excellent, only a five minute walk from the train station and in the middle of tours, we walked everywhere! I would recommend this to anyone coming to Tours as the value for money is excellent.
