Pretty much everything! It was great value (at only EU$59 per night), and was better than some of the hotels in other regions that we have paid three times the price for and gotten much less. Central location within walking distance to most local attractions. Room was spacious, very clean, and modern with plenty of storage space. Bathroom was large and had one of the best showers we have had in the last 12 weeks of travel around Europe. The reception staff spoke English very well and were frien.
all reviews » This is a very nice hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. It was very conveniently located right across from the train station, but was still very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English well. The free wifi worked very well in the room. The location was about a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and other city sites. It is an excellent hotel. Polite staff, big and clean rooms, excellent locarion. It is situated appr.~3-5 minutes walking to Petite France, ~15 minutes walking to Notre Dame. There are many cafes around the hotel, and also it is situated very close to Bus and Train Station. I have no idea about breakfast:-( so the only one thing I cannot say about. An excellent two star hotel with small but refurnished and very clean rooms with air condition. Great location - only few minutes from the center (Petit France, The Cathedral). A public garage is across the street. Our stay was for one night only but we would recommend it for a city trip. Grat value for money!. I suspect this is primarily a hotel aimed towards business travellers, but that means that at certain times the rates for good quality rooms come right down. Hence it was a great room for relatively low cost. Check the prices and you can get a bargin. Staff great, facilities great, location great. The man at the reception was very open, talkative and willing to help. You can clearly see the hotel just upon exiting the railway station, which was very nice after a long trip. Wifi did not work on my computer, but I could use the one of the Ibis across the street (I think it only would have worked for 24 hours, but left sooner) and the one from the McDonald´s also across the street. The view was not that good.. But if you do not use a double bed, you would stay in another room so dont worry. (Every floor ,only one room has a bad sight. Others no). No parking at the hotel. Had to park at the Wodli public parking garage 2 blocks away. The bed was not comfortable. The springs were shot and it was difficult to sleep. There was only one shower towel. I had to use a couple small hand towels to dry off. The only TV channel in English was CNN international. Nothing. nothing much. The lift was little small required a couple of trips to move our luggage. Not a big drama. I feel I got what I paid for. The walking street in front of the hotel is very noisy at night, so we couldn't sleep with an open window. For people who need fresh air while sleeping it may be a problem. The design of the room is interesting, but not very comfortable - there is a dim glass window between bathroom and sleeping room, so if you turn on the light in bathroom at night, there is also light in the room. The door to the bathroom is also dim glass. Nothing !. There could be a proper duvet cover instead of just bed sheet and blanket in the bed. The bed sheet tends to slip away and it`s uncomfortable. Nothing.... It was all good. Small room but enough. Luggage room seems a little bit easy access for anyone.
