Stayed in a twin room with sea view. Just a one night stopover prior to catching ferry. The room was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The en-suite looked as though it was newly fitted, and all facilities, including car parking, were excellent. This is my fourth or fifth stay at this hotel. Highly recommended. Everything. Excellent location with plenty of parking. Walking distance to lovely restaurants. Excellent position, overlooking sea and harbour. Friendly check-in. Lovely clean, well equipped room with sea view. Fabulous, we will book again.
all reviews » We really enjoyed that this was a traditional french family run hotel which was very professionally run. The breakfast was very good value and the location perfect. We would certainly stay here again - especially if the bed was replaced!. The seafront situation on the edge of the town, so very calm. Easy parking and with a beautiful level walk into Roscoff centre and just around the corner from the ferry port. The gracious personnel, attentive and welcoming. Warm and friendly welcome, and staff always helpful. Hotel was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. A most comfortable stay. The hotel had a lovely conservatory and delightful courtyard to sit and relax in. Everything. Our room had a pleasant view of the Beach and harbour. Great sea views and location. Able to park outside. All good. There wasn't anything we didn't like. The overall excellence of this hotel was spoiled by the very uncomfortable bed which was very old and saggy and which my back did not like at all. It was a shame that the room had very modern fittings as did the bathroom, but it was totally let down by the poor bed which is the main component of an overnight stay! This is the reason for my low score for facilities and comfort as the hotel otherwise was fine. Nothing. Breakfast is not good value; a croisant, coffee, and a glass of orange is not worth 8 and a half euros.Would have liked to be welcome to have a drink in the hotel restaurant -we decided to eat in the town but returned after the rush when the restaurant was quiet and were told we would have to go to the bar next door-this was not to our taste. Room quite small-suitable for a one night stay however Would have appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in room. Breakfast cereals should have been in closed container. nothing. nothing. Steps ,stairs, difficult to access bath/shower for people with limited mobility. breakfast,shower room. The restaurant was full. Although still open the restaurant refused us food on the grounds of our 10 o'clock arrival. The ferry docks at 2130 and it was a surprise to realise that no contingency feeding arrangements were in place for arriving guests. The beds were the old springed type and narrower than is normal over here. Bed was a bit collapsed/uncomfortable and the room small. A lot of noise until early hours of the morning as rooms above the busy pub.
